Ah yes, the search for the Mythical Process Unicorn. My Process, my APPROACH is the SAME for every project I ever work on. Define the problem. It's really hard for me to get started until I know what I'm doing. It is about asking the right questions, even the "dumb" ones to figure out what the intended outcome for a project is so that I can suggest a relevant solution. Sometimes it may actually be the three-panel brochure you thought you wanted. Other times it's not that at all and NEEDS to be something completely different. YOU are not YOUR audience. We need to design for THEM more than we need to design for YOU. So let's chat, let's ask some questions of each other and bring some definition to what you want to accomplish.
